The main shopping parade within Alderley Edge has a variety of shops including butchers, sandwich shops, coffee shops and retail businesses. Alderley has it's own Library and Parish Council. Alderley Edge is a lovely place to visit during the summer as there are many outside restaurant areas where you can sit and watch passers by while enjoying a coffee and tea cake. Again most housing is owned by the local housing association and all in all is a very quiet Village.
