From 01/05/13 to 31/05/13 - Anti-social behaviour, The
Loont
You said: We have seen an increase in calls
reporting anti-social behaviour by groups of youths in The Loont
and alleyway’s accessing the area. Fence panels to private gardens
have been damaged along with other issues such as noise nuisance.
We will be targeting the area over the coming weeks looking to
identify those causing the problem and committing criminal
offences. Officers will be visible in the area to reduce calls and
to provide reassurance to local residents. Discussions will be held
with Cheshire West and Chester to see what can be done in respect
of the alleyway’s layout / design to provide a long term
solution.
We did: Hi visibility patrols have been
conducted in the area and I am pleased to report we have had no
calls regarding crime or anti-social behaviour in the past month.
In repect of the issues caused by the alleyway's having consulted
with Cheshire West and Chester it will not be possible at this time
to gate or otherwise design out the problem.
