Aged 11 - 18 and think your band is the next
Temper Trap? Or LaLa about Lady GaGa? Then read on…
Young people from the Cheshire area are being invited to perform
and record their own two minute song based on one of the Upbeat
topics. This can be as part of a band, solo singer or group. The
song must be original so no cover versions
please!
The judging panel will consist of a member of the force, someone
from the recording studio and three young people from local
schools.

The prize
Cheshire Police are offering all budding artists in Cheshire the
chance to win a money-can’t-buy prize of a session
in a recording studio, airtime on
selected stations in Cheshire and photographic and design time for
an album cover.

Film the performance:

- or send it to us on CD/DVD to

2UA.
Closing date
Applicants will have until August 16th 2010 to
send in their entries.
There is no limit to the numbers of bands/groups who apply from
any one school and applicants can enter as many times as they
want.
