Superintendent Sarah Boycott, of the Northern Area, said: “Officers from across Warrington worked closely with Warrington Borough Council, Warrington Wolves and other partners in planning the event and in ensuring it ran safely and smoothly. It was a successful occasion with large good natured crowds taking the opportunity to welcome the player’s home throughout the route. There were no arrests directly linked to the event.”
