Chester man arrested on suspicion of possessing a stun gun

A 22-year-old man has been arrested after police officers found a stun gun at a Blacon house.

The weapon was found along with what is believed to be counterfeit money at a house in St Chad’s Road, Blacon on Thursday (September 9).

Officers were carrying out a warrant at the house following information from the public.

The 22-year-old was later arrested on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon and possessing counterfeit currency.

He was released on police bail until November pending further enquiries.
