A campervan was destroyed and three
other cars sustained damage following an incident
in Winsford last night.
Damage was also caused to the windows of a nearby house and
fencing when the fire took hold of a VW campervan parked on a small
carpark on Siddorn Street at around
11.10pm last night, Wednesday 25th
January.
A people carrier, a Golf and a Mercedes car parked nearby also
sustained minor damage.
House to house enquiries and forensic examination of the scene
is underway as Police and fire investigators have determined that
the cause of the fire is suspicious.
Anyone with any information or anyone who may have seen anyone
behaving suspiciously in the area at the time should contact
Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 1069 of
25th January or alternatively information can be left anonymously
with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
