Chester Outer North - Blacon and Saughall

  • Adelaide Road - Criminal damage. Overnight 22-23/01/12. Offender(s) pour varnish remover over Seat Leon & nearside body panels ‘keyed’.
  • Clifton Drive - Theft from motor vehicle. 2230hrs on 30/1/12 Unknown offenders smash a window on a secured motor vehicle parked on a residential driveway before stealing a PSP & making off.
  • Saughall Road - Theft from motor vehicle. (0100-0200 26/01/12). Offender(s) tries to force cab on van without success before forcing passenger door & stealing a coat.

Chester Outer South - Lache / Westminster Park / Curzon Park / Handbridge / Saltney

  • Chester Street - Burglary (other) 21-22/01/12. During 24 hour period unknown offender(s) enter shop closed under repair & steal a Toshiba laptop from under counter.
  • Earlsway - Theft from motor vehicle 06/01 – 20/01. Offender(s) steal Sat nav & bag (containing passport) from insecure motor vehicle takenduring a 2-week period.

Lache / Saltney (Chester-side) areas 22/01/2012

Following the report of an intruder at a premises, an arrest of a local male at the scene by Beat Manager PC Andy Manson resulted in a number of offences coming to light.

Due to co-operation between PC Manson and NPT NET team officers, the male was charged & remanded after stolen property was found at his home address.

The male was charged with:

  • 2 offences of burglary (other than a dwelling),
  • 1 offence of theft from a building site
  • & possession of criminal property from 3 other addresses.

The male is also being investigated with regards to a recent burglary in the Lache area.

An excellent result for PC Manson and the NPT officers involved!

Chester Outer East - Kingsway / Hoole / Upton / Huntington / Vicars Cross / Boughton

  • Grange Road - Theft from motor vehicle. During 24hr period 24-25/01/12. Unknown offender(s) smash front nearside window before stealing a bag full of power tools.
  • Crossley Crescent - Burglary (dwelling). Morn – eve 20/01/12. Unknown offender(s) have gained entry to premises by smashing conservatory windows. Quantity of jewellery stolen.
  • Ermine Road - Burglary (dwelling). Late evening of 30/01/2012. Following a report of 4 males seen loading black bin liners full of items into a transit van from an address, the 4 males were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody.
