Policing Priorities

From 27th March 2018 to 30th April 2018 the policing priorities for this area will be

ASB – Boughton Graffiti on Cherry Road – Canal side – St Pauls Church.

 

Rough sleeping - Waitrose Super market and Hoole lane medical centre.

 

Speeding vehicles – Boughton.

Priorities for Newton are:

ASB and drug area patrol targeting

  • Concerns over the Francis Street children’s play area due to persons congregating and causing Anti-Social Behaviour.
  • Lyon Street Stairwell, drinking and drug dealing in area.

High visibility targeted patrols to take place.

Priorities for Chester City Centre are:

ASB Grosvenor Park toilets

Rough sleeping Chester City Rows

Begging in the City Centre

Priorities for Garden Quarter

Extra foot patrol to be performed in the Garden Lane Car Park / Lorne Street area after on-going issues with suspicious activity in the area.

Police surgery’s outside the bank working with Chester against business crime giving crime prevention advice and handing out purse bells and other crime deterrent items such as UV pens to the public.

Increased patrols of the area to try and identify the male, male identified and has been warned not to return to the area and has been given an ASB letter.

Continued Targeted Patrols of Grovsenor Park, The Groves and the Quick’s Site on Lower Bridge Street.

Speed gun enforcement on Dee Lane 7th March, we found nobody speeding.

Worked with Street scene who removed bedding and bedding down materials, patrols stepped up.

We have looked at a number of options for both of these concerns with partner agencies to prevent. Police intend to continue high visibility patrols in the area and are asking partnerships about securing the area and use of CCTV to assist. This is ongoing.
