Policing Priorities

From 1st November 2017 to 30th November 2017 the policing priorities for this area will be

We have been getting a number of complaints of ASB within Sandbach Town Centre and the park. We are currently working with the council to reduce this and ensuring that high visibility patrol are regularly conducted.

Work is currently being completed to ensure that we are ready for the up and coming Halloween and Bonfire Period. This will be an LPU Priority over the next couple of months and as well as engaging with the local children, we will be dealing with Anti Social Behaviour to ensure that the period is enjoyed by all in the local area.

Sandbach PS had their own trick or treat stop, which went down well with the local children. The Halloween and Bonfire period ran smoothly and we hope was enjoyed by all local residents.

Complaints continue to be received about the inconsiderate parking of vehicles in Heath Road, Sandbach.

High visibility patrols will take place in the area and those vehicles found committing offences will be issued with tickets.

A number of complaints have been received about traffic issues in the Holmes Chapel area.  The Beat Management team will continue to carry out traffic enforcement in the area to prevent any further issues. An operation has been ran this month in order to enforce both speed and weight restrictions.

In excess of 100 Traffic Offence Reports issued.

TRUCAM caught 171 drivers speeding.

5 tickets issued to HGV drivers for weight restriction offences.

3 tickets for non-endorseable – parking obstruction offences.

A number of complaints have been received about groups of youths gathering around the Precinct area of Holmes Chapel and acting in an anti social manner. The Beat Management team will be carrying out high visibility patrols around the area and will identify and take appropriate action against any person found acting in an anti social manner. We are currently working with local partners and the ASB coordinator to put a stop to this kind of behaviour.
