Policing Priorities

From 29th March 2018 to 2nd May 2018 the policing priorities for this area will be

The local PCSOs have been engaging with local schools across the area, to speak to children about anti-social behaviour in the community, internet safety and road safety, including parking. This is a key priority for residents during term time. We will continue the work already started.

 

We have been getting a number of complaints regarding ASB within the Middlewich area. Police are working hard to try and reduce this but if you have any information please contact us on 101.

We have been getting a number of complaints of ASB within Sandbach Town Centre and the park. We are currently working with the council to reduce this and ensuring that high visibility patrol are regularly conducted. Any ASB with in the town will be dealt with robustly. Please call 101 if you see anything.

A number of complaints have been received about traffic issues in the Holmes Chapel area.  The Beat Management team will continue to carry out traffic enforcement in the area to prevent any further issues. An operation has been ran this month in order to enforce both speed and weight restrictions.

 

In excess of 100 Traffic Offence Reports issued.

 

TRUCAM caught 171 drivers speeding.

 

5 tickets issued to HGV drivers for weight restriction offences.

 

3 tickets for non-endorseable – parking obstruction offences.

 

Further enforcement has been carried out on Macclesfield Rd, in relation to weight restrictions and 3 endorseables have been issued already this month. This is an ongoing enforcement. Regular phone calls are also be made to frequent offenders.

Inconsiderate parking in Holmes Chapel

We did:

We have received several complaints from residents that vehicles are being parked on the pavement obstructing access for pedestrians, and that vehicles are double parking on the road preventing access for emergency vehicles and also parking on junctions. Police warning notices have been issued on roads suggested, and further action will be taken if this continues.
