This continues to be a priority for the Ellesmere Port LPU.
There will be hi-visibility patrols around the repeat locations.
Repeat Locations include:
Cheshire Oaks Play Area
Coliseum Leisure Site
Joan Bartlett Close
Retail crime at these locations continues to impact upon the availability of emergency response resources for incidents. As such the Beat Management team focus will continue on these locations to "free up" emergency response units. This approach will be enhanced by long term problem solving initiatives at the sites to deter offenders, reduce the number of offences and reduce the time officers spend at the locations dealing with those crimes.
In January 2018 the Ellesmere Port Beat Management ream will be focusing on enhancing the Safeguarding of vulnerable people, preventing and detecting crime at locations that have suffered repeat crimes and carrying out engagement with Communities via Social Media and beat surgeries to listen and act on community concerns.
