We will continue to take action against those involved in supply and use of controlled drugs around the Moss Estate area. We will continue to work closely alongside local residents in hotspot areas to identify trends and target those involved. We provide updates of any action undertaken via Twitter and Cheshire Alert.

If you would like to sign up for Cheshire Alert, please visit and register. In addition if you have any information you can contact us via 101 or anonymously on CrimeStoppers (0800 555 111).

We recognise that ASB can have such a detrimental effect on the communities and residents of Macclesfield South Ward. As such we a striving to reduce ASB by challenging and dealing with behaviour that causes alarm, harassment or distress to residents.

We continue to conduct high visibility patrols in the identified areas and as such have been able to issue a cannabis warning to a person found in possession of cannabis. In addition we have been able to stop check a number of persons in and around the hotspot areas. From speaking with the local residents they have advised that there has been a dramatic drop in the amount of activity.
