Following on from the robust approach we have taken against ASB over summer, we are looking to continue this in the run up to Christmas and New Year. We have made changes to our shift patterns to allow for us to be on duty when we will be in most demand
There is continued concern over the number of people showing a disregard for the road traffic laws that are there to make our roads safer. The Macclesfield South team will continue to proactively targeting those who put other road users at risk.
Pupils across Macclesfield LPU will be returning back to school this month. Local officers will be working with Cheshire East parking enforcement team targeting those who commit parking offences at schools. Please show some consideration for pupils and residents when dropping off and picking up.
We will continue with our action against those involved in the supply and use of illegal drugs. Residents still have concerns over the supply of controlled drugs within the town and so we will look to work closely with them to target those people involved. Updates will be delivered via social media. Please follow us on Twitter and sign up to Cheshire Alerts.

Further warrants have been executed - with the latest one on the Macclesfield East Ward. These have all related to the supply of controlled drugs. We are commited to tackling the issue and making the town a safer place to live.
Some of the warrants were mentioned in the local press. To ensure that you are kept up to date, follow us on Twitter.
As the nights drew in it was reported that there were still concerns over ASB in a small number of areas across the town.We did:

We held a Multi Agency Action Group involving partners from across the council, social services and police. Since we started this process one group who were causing problems in the town have ceased their behaviour.
There is continued concern over the number of people showing a disregard for the road traffic laws that are there to make our roads safer. The Macclesfield South team will continue to proactively targeting those who put other road users at riskWe did:
The increase in our teams involvement in tackling road traffic offences has continued. Routinely you will see our team deploying to hotspots with speed cameras to improve road safety. Our mobile patrols have been arresting a number of people for providing positive drugs wipes.
It has been quite eye opening just how many motorists we have caught flouting the law in recent weeks.
Follow our twitter account to see where the camera has been and how many drivers have been caught putting their safety and that of other road users at risk.
