There has been a steady increase in the number of Burglaries reported over the last few weeks. These have centered around the Fulshaw Park area and Alderley Edge. Both local and Force resources are being used in a bid to deter and detect these offences.
Local residents are urged to report anything suspicious and report this via 101 or 999 if they believe a crime is in progress
Officers throughout February have gathered responses from local residents through direct surveys. Throughout March we are continuing to collate local priorities via social media. These will then be used to set local Road Policing strategy.

You raised concerns about Thefts from Motor Vehicles across WilmslowWe did:
Following a rise in vehicle crime in Wilmslow a suspect was identified following use of a stolen debit card. This suspect was the same individual who was caught and imprisoned back in October for IDENTICAL offences.
Suspect was charged and subsequently plead guilty receiving a 26 week custodial sentence. There has been a marked decrease in similar crime since his incarceration.
ASB - Alderley Edge ParkWe did:
As promised we have increased patrols and been taking positive action towards those causing ASB in the area. We have also been liaising with local businesses & local residents to build up a greater understanding of the issue.
Several youths have been identified as responsible for throwing items at houses backing onto the park. These individuals have been referred to the ASB co-ordinator for further intervention.
What are your priorities?
We pick local priorities based on feedback from the public and our knowledge of policing issues in the area.
Tell us what you want us to focus on this month using the form below. If you don't want to use the form you can come to a local meeting, call us, or speak to a local officer.
Do not use this form to report a crime or an urgent matter. If you wish to report a crime please call our non-emergency number 101 or call 999 if it is an emergency.
Your message will be sent through to the local policing team for consideration as a Policing Priority for this area.
