Policing Priorities

From 1st January 2018 to 31st January 2018 the policing priorities for this area will be

Speeding continues to be a priority across the local area. Enforcement continues on routes identified by members of the public who raise concerns over the speed of vehicles. Following a period of evidence gathering, if an issue is identified we turn to enforcement.

Numerous roads have been concentrated on to date and others are planned over the coming weeks especially in light of children returning to school for the New Year.

Although reports of ASB have reduced, it has become apparent from work carried out by Wilmslow Beat Team that there is a small number of nominals who are engaged with the dealing of drugs. It is our intention to pro-actively target these individuals to remove the impact they are having.

We would continue ask members of the public to report issues of ASB as and when they are occurring so that we can attend and deal with these matters expeditiously.

You can contact the Police via 101. You can also provide information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111

Inconsiderate parking in the areas of schools at drop off and collection times has been highlighted as a priority.

Working with Civil Enforcement Officers, Wilmslow Beat Team will focus on this location, issuing notices and fines when appropriate.

Schools will also be worked with in order to distribute literature in a bid to educate parents.
