Policing Priorities

From 1st October 2017 to 31st October 2017 the policing priorities for this area will be

We are working closely with the school and Taxi Licensing regarding Taxi parking on double yellow lines when picking up pupils. We will continue to educate and enforce proportionately and work with the school. We are additionally in frequent contact with the traffic management, road safety and highway adoptions team from Warrington Borough Council.

ASB - 

We have received reports from local residents about youths causing ASB in the evening at weekends. Local Beat Manager PC Caswell and Local PCSO’s Mc Adams, Nowacki and Carr will be patrolling the parks in the coming weeks to identify anyone responsible for causing ASB and to prevent any ASB. Work is ongoing looking at opportunities to introduce diversionary activities in the area to prevent and reduce to ASB in the area.

We will continue to develop intelligence with the support of local intelligence officers with a view to taking positive action against the users and suppliers of class A and B drugs.

Beat Managers and PCSO’s will be a visible presence in areas where drug activity is reported , offering support and reassurance to the local community.

We would ask local residents and visitors to the area to continue to report any drugs issues directly to Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

We did:
  • We have seen a reduction in incidents in the area and have much partner activity in place. Recently, sports activities have been implemented at the location to provide some diversionary activities and engage positively with the youths.
  • ASB - We continue to work closely with our partners to provide activities and listen to residents and local youths. We will continue our efforts in providing hi-visibility to the locations; supporting staff and public and dealing appropriately with those responsible. We also actively engage closely with the schools in the area.

We did:

Off-Road Bikes - We have had success with Operation Scrambler designed to tackle this issue. There has been reductions in occurrences and we have seized numerous illegal bikes and dealt with offences. We would like to thank the public for their invaluable contribution in helping us with this community issue.
