Policing Priorities

From 1st March 2018 to 31st March 2018 the policing priorities for this area will be

We have received complaints regarding motorists speeding along Warrington/Penketh Road.


We will utilise our Tru Cam speeding camera on Warrington/ Penketh Road to catch those motorists who drive in excess of the speed limit.


During February there has been a number of Burglary incidents reported.

Local officers along with our crime units will be targeting these area's to identify those individuals responsible for these crimes.

Please make sure your property is secure and items as well as car keys are not left accessible.

During the winter months any suspicious behaviour during daytime and evening should be reported to the Police on 101 and provide as much detail as you can. You can remain anonymous.


We will continue to develop intelligence with the support of local intelligence officers with a view to taking positive action against the users and suppliers of class A and B drugs.

Beat Managers and PCSO’s will be a visible presence in areas where drug activity is reported , offering support and reassurance to the local community.

We would ask local residents and visitors to the area to continue to report any drugs issues directly to Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

Over the last month Warrington West officers have continued to develop intelligence related to drug dealing. 

We will continue to develop the Intelligence and target those individuals committing these offences. 

Beat Officers stopped youths on Dakota Park in possession of Cannabis. These youths are being dealt with for drug offences

You reported speeding on some of out busy roads running through Warrington West.

We did:

Local PCSOs have deployed TRU CAM a speed enforcement camera across various locations on Warrington West.

Penalty notices have been sent to motorists who have been driving in excess of the speed limit.

PCSOs will continue with speed enforcement throughout March.

You have reported a number of Burglary offences across the Warrington West area.

We did:

Warrington Burglary team are investigated each incident.

Warrington West Beat officers along have provided high visible foot patrol in the area and 24/7 response officers have been briefed to default in the area, to provide reassurance and conduct stop checks.

There have been meetings with the Asian community to offer reassurance and crime prevention advice. Local Beat Team is working with the local Parish Council to make sure the community are reassured and updated.
