Appeal following altercation at Ellesmere Port store Date published: 26th April 2019 10.08am

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a member of staff was threatened during an altercation at a discount store in Ellesmere Port.

The incident took place outside the main entrance to the B&M shop on Station Road at around 1.25pm on Wednesday 24 April.

During the altercation a known man is alleged to have verbally threatened a security guard.

Detective Constable Steven Marsland said: “While the suspect in this case has been identified, we are still looking to trace a number of people who witnessed the incident.

“The altercation took place outside the main entrance of the busy store and we know that there were a number of people in the area who will have saw what happened.

“I urge anyone who believes they may be able to help with the investigation to get in touch with the team here at Ellesmere Port on 101.”
