Appeal following Chester arson Date published: 30th May 2017 12.33pm

Chester officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an arson in Boughton.

Shortly after 1.00pm on Wednesday 17 May officers were called to reports of a fire involving a disused fridge freezer in an alleyway at the rear of a fast food restaurant on the A51 in Boughton.

Officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, and swiftly extinguished the fire.

The fire is being treated as suspicion and a full investigation has now been launched. As part of the investigation officers are keen to speak a man who was captured on CCTV footage in the area around the incident occurred.

The man is described as being a white man with a bald head. He was wearing grey short, a dark hoodie style jacket and dark shoes.
