Appeal following fail to stop collision in Crewe Date published: 4th December 2017 2.18pm

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision between a car and a cyclist in Crewe.

The incident occurred on Wistaston Road at 8.36pm on Thursday 30 November.

The car, which collided with the cyclist left the scene and police are eager to speak to the driver of the vehicle. The car is described as a black Vauxhall Astra.

The 17-year-old cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital.

PC Paul Hill said: “We want to speak to the driver of the car which collided with the cyclist outside the Duke of Bridgewater pub. If anyone saw anything in that area, or a car matching the description in the area at the time please call police on 101.”
