Appeal following indecent exposures in Hough Green Date published: 14th June 2017 11.18am

Officers are warning Widnes residents to remain vigilant following multiple reports indecent exposures in the Hough Green area.

Since Sunday 28 May officers have been called to four separate reports of incidents where a man has indecently exposed himself in front of teenage girls. In each case the suspect has been described as a white man in his early twenties.

Investigating Officer Detective Constable Nicola Dolan said: “I urge local residents to remain vigilant whilst out and about and report any suspicious activity to us on 101. While the suspect has not directly approached any of the victims, they have understandably been left shaken by their ordeals.

“Enquiries in relation to these incidents and are currently on-going and we are following a number of lines of enquiry. As part of the investigation I urge anyone with any information, which might assist with our investigation, or anyone who knows the identity of the man to get in touch.”
