Appeal for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Lymm, Warrington Date published: 16th March 2017 1.25pm

Officers in Warrington are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Lymm.

At around 20:40 on Thursday, 9 March three men are believed to have entered the front door of a house on Moston Grove.

Two of the men confronted the victim inside the house, with one holding a knife, while the third man stayed in the hallway. All three left the house after stealing a small amount of money and made off on foot towards Newfields Road.

One of the men is described as being white, around 6ft in height, aged around 25, with a long gaunt face and mousy brown hair. He was wearing a blue hoody and blue surgical gloves.

The second man had brown eyes and brown skin. His clothing was black and white including black gloves and he had his face covered.
The victim didn’t get a description of the third man.

The knife is described as silver, a 2-3 inch blade that had a pattern cut out.
