Appeal for witnesses to come forward following a burglary in Crewe Date published: 21st March 2017 11.56am

Officers are urging witnesses to come forward after a local newsagents was burgled in Crewe.

In the early hours of Monday, 20 March between 1.20-3am, four men forced entry into McColls on Nantwich Road.

While inside the property, offenders stole a significant amount of cash along with a large quantity of cigarettes before leaving in a vehicle at around 2:40am and travelled along Walthall Street.

Anyone who may have any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 88 of 20 March.
