Detectives investigating an ATM attack in Sandbach are appealing for information.

Shortly before 2.45am on Tuesday, 19 September offenders approached the cash machine at the Co-operative Store on Middlewich Road.

The suspects caused substantial damage to the cash machine and the building, before making off in a car.

Detective Constable Ruth Thomas, of Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: “We are currently in the early stages of the investigation and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen anything suspicious.”
