Police appeal for witnesses after Ettiley Heath assault Date published: 25th September 2017 3.11pm

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Ettiley Heath.

Sometime between 3pm and 4pm on Wednesday 20 September a 13-year-old girl was on the driveway of an address in a housing estate off the Saltline Way when she was assaulted by a man who then fled the scene.

The man is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, and of medium build with muscly arms. He was wearing a dark blue zipped hooded top with black trousers.

PC Vicky Taylor said: “The man was last seen running along Goldsmith Drive in the direction of the Saltline Way.

“The victim was left shocked but uninjured. It is unclear what the motivation was here but we would like to reassure the community we have had no further reports of similar incidents in the area. We are currently working to establish the circumstances and would appeal to anyone who has any information, or sees any suspicious activity in the area, to contact police on 101.”
