Police appeal for witnesses to Middlewich collision Date published: 10th February 2017 4.22pm

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Lewin Street in Middlewich at around 5.25pm 3 February 2017.

Two 12-year-old girls were at the traffic lights on Lewin Street near the church when a black Renault Clio travelled through the lights and was in collision with the two girls.

Sgt Andy Mannering said: “It is believed that there may have been two older people who witnessed the collision.

“We would like to speak to them to establish what took place. If you were there at the time and witnessed the collision but have yet to speak to police I’d urge you to please contact me on 101 quoting incident number 704 of 3 February 2017.

“Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
