Police in Warrington appeal for information following an aggravated burglary Date published: 10th January 2017 9.50am

Officers in Warrington are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at an address in Blenheim Close, Warrington.

At around 9:30pm on 2 January 2017, two men entered the property threatening the occupants with machete knives. While one man threatened the occupants, the second man attempted to go upstairs.

The man was challenged by the occupants, resulting in the offender retreating and both men fleeing the address on foot.

One man is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and wearing a black and white mask. He was also wearing a grey hoody and black tracksuit bottoms.

The second man is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and also wearing a black and white mask. He was also wearing a black hoody and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Detective Constable Emily Teare said: “I am keen to trace the men responsible for this incident and as part of the investigation I’m appealing to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and believes that they may have seen anything suspicious.”
