16-year-old charged with number of offences in Winsford Date published: 4th January 2017 11am

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with a number of offences in Winsford.

Following an investigation, the teenager, who is from the town, has been charged with attempted robbery, burglary and assault.

The charges relate to an attempted robbery on Friday 21 October at a newsagent on Station Road, a burglary on Wednesday 16 November at an address in Winsford town centre and an assault at a restaurant in Nat Lane on Friday 23 December.

The teen has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at South and East Cheshire Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 4 January).
