Arrests made in Widnes aggravated burglary Date published: 8th September 2015 3.38pm

Widnes detectives have made two arrests as part of an investigation into an aggravated burglary at an address in Widnes.

At 6.46pm on Sunday 6 September 2015 an aggravated burglary took place at an address near Balmoral Road.

The homeowners’ car, jewellery and cash were stolen.

A 40-year-old man from Runcorn and a 42-year-old man from Ellesmere Port were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and on suspicion of a robbery that occurred sometime between 11.45pm on 5 September and 1.05am on 6 September 2015 in Bankfield Road in Widnes.
