Cheshire Police conduct public perception survey Date published: 20th January 2017 11.40am

Cheshire Police is currently using a company called Swift Research to carry out its public perception surveying.

Staff employed by Swift are vetted and subject to confidentiality agreements.

The survey is being conducted using a random digit dialling methodology. Numbers are selected at random and if you are ex-directory or sign up to a telephone preferencing service (TPS) this will not exclude you from receiving a call.

Telephone preferencing where people sign up to schemes to stop them receiving ‘nuisance’ calls only prevent marketing calls and not genuine market research.

This survey may also contact people on their mobile telephone as well as their landline.
