Ellesmere Port man charged with drug dealing offences Date published: 30th April 2019 1.50pm

A 20-year-old man from Ellesmere Port has been charged after officers seized a large quantity of class A and B drugs in the town.

John Gratrix, of Parklands, Little Sutton, appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 30 May, in answer to three charges of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

The charges relate to class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine and class B drug cannabis.

Gratix pleaded guilty to all the offences. He has been remanded in custody and is set to be sentenced at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 28 May.

The 20-year-old was arrested by officers on Church Street in Ellesmere Port on suspicion of drug offences shortly after 10pm on Sunday 28 April.

Officers subsequently executed a warrant at an address in Parklands, Little Sutton, where they discovered a large quantity of illegal drugs.
