Family pay tribute to 34-year-old Sandbach woman who died in a collision in Gawsworth Date published: 7th October 2015 11.46am

The family of the 34-year-old Sandbach woman who sadly died in a collision in Gawsworth have paid tribute to her.

The collision on the A536 Congleton Road happened at 7.45am on Thursday 1 October, and involved a blue Ford Focus and a bus.

Sadly, Emily died at the scene.

The family said: “Emily Burgess née Bedford of Sandbach, was a caring, fun and much loved fiancée, step mother, sister, daughter and proud NHS employee.

“She is greatly missed by all who knew her.

“Her funeral will be held in Cambridge later this month.

“All donations to the Alzheimer's society (https://www.justgiving.com/Emily-Bedford2) a charity dear to her heart, are most gratefully received.”
