Man charged following a string of burglary offences in Chester Date published: 1st December 2016 3.20pm

Following an investigation into a spate of burglaries in Chester a 40-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences.

Michael Langton, 40, of Dawpool Close, Chester has been charged with two counts of burglary dwelling and a further offence of going equipped to steal.

On Wednesday 30 November, in the early hours of the morning, police were notified of a burglary and an attempted burglary in Well Lane and in a burglary in Totland Close, Chester.

Local officers conducted a search of the area and arrested a man who was later charged with the offences.

Langton appeared at West Cheshire Magistrates today, 1 December 2016
