Officers from Crewe Local Policing Unit have charged a Stockport man in relation to a number of incidents in the Cranage area.
In the early hours of Tuesday 6 June officer were called to reports of suspicious activity in the Needham Drive are of Cranage. Officers attended the scene and found that a number of sheds and outbuildings had been broken into.
After following a number of lines of enquiries officers arrested a 29-year-old man from Stockport in relation to the incidents. Following questioning Ryan Kevin Day has been charged with four counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and two counts of taking a motor vehicle without consent.
Day, of Chamberlain Gardens, Bredbury, Stockport, was remanded in custody and is set to appear at South Cheshire Magistrates’ later today, Wednesday 28 June.
