Man charged following Ellesmere Port Robbery Date published: 4th May 2016 8.07am

A man from Ellesmere Port has been charged with robbery following an incident on Wolverham Road.

The 45-year-old local man was arrested by officers on Friday 29th April following an incident at approximately 7.15pm on Thursday 28th April on Wolverham Road where a 12-year-old boy had his mobile phone stolen.

Following questioning the man was charged with one count of robbery. He appeared at South Cheshire Magistrates’ court on Monday 2 May where he was remanded in custody; he is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 31 May.
