Man charged in relation to caravan thefts Date published: 22nd May 2019 1.41pm

Detectives investigating a series of caravan thefts have charged a man in connection to the incidents.

Lennon McMahon, 18, of Southam Close, Coventry, was arrested on Monday 20 May when officers stopped a vehicle on Wrexham Road near Whitchurch.

He has subsequently been charged with a total of 19 offences - including seven counts of theft and two counts of theft of a motor vehicle.

A second man was also arrested during the vehicle stop. Curtis Beston, 24, Laneside, Coventry, has since been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and being carried in a vehicle without the owner consent.

The charges relate to incidents in Byley, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Pwllheli.

The pair have both been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 22 May.
