Man charged with mugging Ellesmere Port pensioner Date published: 30th May 2017 2.55pm

Officers from Ellesmere Port CID have charged a man with Robbery in relation to the mugging of a pensioner.

Lewis Frawley, 21, was arrested on Friday 26 May in relation to the mugging of a 67-year-old woman that occurred on Monday 22 May on Regent Street, Ellesmere Port.

Following questioning Frawley, of Princes Road, Ellesmere Port, was charged with one count of Robbery; he appeared at Chester Magistrates on 27 May where he was remanded in custody. He is set to stand trial at Chester Crown Court on 27 June.
