Nine men have been charged with drugs offences as part of Operation Impact - a high-profile drugs operation in Crewe and Staffordshire.
The men were all arrested yesterday, Wednesday 10th August, as part of a series of dawn raids targeting organised crime and illegal drugs.
Following questioning the men have all been charged with Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs; seven of the men were remanded in custody, whilst two were released on police bail. All nine men are set to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court later today, Thursday 11th August 2016.
As part of the operation nine warrants were executed at addresses across the Crewe area, including in Nantwich, Leighton and Haslington; whilst a tenth warrant was conducted at an address in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Two other men who were arrested as part of the operation have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
