Men jailed for burglary offences Date published: 28th March 2017 12.14pm

Two men have been jailed in relation to three burglary offences that occurred in Warrington.

Gareth Blinston, 38, of Cronulla Drive, Warrington, and Mark Ingle, 40, of Haryngton Avenue, Warrington, both pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary.

On appearing at Chester Crown Court Friday 24 March 2017 the pair were both sentenced to 22 months in prison.
The burglary charge related to an incident on 12 January 2017, when the pair broke into a fast food outlet at Alban Retail Park, Warrington, and attempted to steal money from the till.

The two attempted burglaries occurred on Friday 13 March when Bliston and Ingle attempted to break into two residential addresses in the Bewsey area of Warrington.

DC Stacey Nolan said: “This is a pleasing result and I hope it acts as a warning to other potential offenders.

“Burglary is a despicable crime and we are committed to doing all that we can to bring offenders to justice.”
