Merseyside man charged following burglaries in Tarporley Date published: 17th November 2017 9.25am

Officers from Northwich CID have charged a Merseyside man following a series of burglaries and a vehicle theft in Tarporley.

William John O’Brien, was arrested on Wednesday 15 November following a burglary at an address on Plough Close, Tarporley.

O’Brien, 43, of Vioala Street, Bootle, has subsequently been charged with three counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods.

The burglary charges relate to the incident on Plough Close on 15 November, along with further incidents on Woodlands Way and Torr Rise, which both occurred on 14 November.

The theft of a motor vehicle relates to a BMW X5 medical car which was stolen from Oulton Park on Tuesday 14 November.

O’Brien has been remanded in custody and is set to at appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Friday 17 November.
