Merseyside man charged with drugs offences following Ellesmere Port vehicle stop Date published: 1st June 2017 8.04am

A 37-year-old man from New Ferry has been charged with drugs offences following a successful vehicle stop in Ellesmere Port.

Richard Cook, of River View, New Ferry, was arrested by officers from the Cheshire Police Taskforce team on Tuesday 30 May following a vehicle stop check on Rivache Road, Ellesmere Port.

Following questioning Cook was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (Cocaine); he has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at West Cheshire Magistrates on 1 June 2016.
