More arrests as part of Operation Hatay Date published: 30th July 2015 2.31pm

Operation Hatay 5 continued on Wednesday with some excellent work from teams from across the force working together to locate and arrest offenders for a variety of offences.

There have been some excellent results with 17 further offenders being arrested. Arrests have included those who were wanted for fail to attend warrants, theft, exposure, burglary, assault, recall to prison and Breach of Court orders.

Superintendent Peter Crowcroft said:  “This is a week long operation which sees the Constabulary taking offenders off the streets, reiterating the fact that we’re here for you.  Officers are not taking no for an answer when they’re searching for these offenders and are determined to bring people to justice.
