Public misconduct hearing outcome Date published: 20th November 2015 2.29pm

On Friday 20 November 2015 a Cheshire police officer appeared before a misconduct hearing. The hearing was the first to be held in public following recent changes to the police conduct framework.

Constable Frances Lea faced allegations of discreditable conduct having previously pleaded guilty to an offence of drink driving at Manchester Magistrates Court on 27 October 2015.

The hearing chaired by the Chief Constable, found the allegation proven and the officer was dismissed without notice in his absence.
