Officers from Runcorn CID have charged a local man in relation to a burglary.
Lewis Johnson, 22, of the Glen, Runcorn, was arrested by officers from Cheshire Police on 1 June in relation to a Burglary at an address on The Croft in Runcorn that occurred between 22 and 23 May.
Following questioning Johnson was charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence. In addition he has also been charged with malicious communications.
He appeared at South Cheshire Magistrates on 3 June 2017 where he was remanded in custody; he is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on 3 July 2017.
