Second post mortem carried out on body recoved from Bosley mill tragedy Date published: 23rd July 2015 4pm

A post mortem on the second body found at Bosley Mill has been carried out.

Formal identification has not been made but, based on the information available to the coroner, indications are that it is probably that of Dorothy Bailey aged 62. However, further forensic tests are required to corroborate the identification.

Mrs Bailey’s family have been fully updated on this development and the Family Liaison Officers off all those affected continue to work with them to offer them all the advice and support they need during what is a very difficult time.

Officers and investigators from Cheshire Constabulary, Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service and the Health and Safety Executive have been doing all they can to aid the search and recovery operation at the Wood Flour Mills in Tunstall Road, which has been ongoing since Friday.

The joint investigation is continuing to establish the cause of the incident.
