Officers from the Cheshire Police Task Force have charged a Stockport man with drugs offences in relation to the supply of Class A drugs in the Macclesfield area.

Errol Wright, 44, of Elgol Close, Davenport, Stockport, was arrested on Wednesday 17 May following a pre-planned operation in Macclesfield.

Following questioning, Wright was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin and cocaine) and two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and cocaine).

Wright has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates on Thursday 18 May.
