Tenth man charged as part of Operation Impact Date published: 16th August 2016 8.53am

Officers from Cheshire Police have charged a tenth man with Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs as part of Operation Impact.

Paul Hamlett, 45, of Parkers Road, Crewe, was arrested on Sunday 14 August at Manchester Airport after returning to the UK.

Following questioning Hamlett was charged with Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs; he has been remanded in police custody and is appear at Crewe Magistrates Court later today, Tuesday 16 August 2016.

A 34-year-old woman who was arrested yesterday, August 15, as part of the operation has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
