Three people sentenced after Ellemsere Port burglary Date published: 10th September 2015 10.18am

Three people are behind bars after admitting burglary at an address in Ellesmere Port.

Dale Cunnah, 23, of  Stamford Road, Blacon and Bradley Davies, 26, from Queens Gardens, Ellesmere Port pleaded guilty to burglary and theft at an earlier hearing and were sentenced on 31 July 2015 to three years in prison.

Kirsty Welch, 38 from Wilkinson Street North, Ellesmere Port pleaded not guilty to burglary and theft at an earlier hearing but was convicted and sentenced to two years and six months in prison on 28 August. Welch appeared again  at Chester Crown Court on 8 September to be sentenced to 3 months in prison for possession with intent to supply of Class B drugs (cannabis). Officers found the drugs and drug paraphernalia when the arrested her at her home address.

The burglary took place at an address in Westminster Road, Ellesmere Port on 2nd April 2015. Davies and Cunnah entered the house while the occupants slept, stealing the keys to their Vauxhall Corsa before driving off in the vehicle. Welch had acted as a lookout on the road outside and then later attempted to sell the car.

Cunnah and Davies also both admitted another burglary at another address in Westminster Road which they committed just 2 days after on 4th April 2015.
