Two Kingsley residents arrested under the Dangerous Dogs Act Date published: 15th June 2017 12.03pm

Officers from Chester Local Policing Unit have arrested two people on suspicion of possession of dangerous dogs for the purpose of fighting.

The arrests came after officers executed a warrant under the Dangerous Dogs Act at an address on Top Road, Kingsley, shortly after 9.00am today, Thursday 15 June.

As a result of the warrant officers seized two dogs, believed to be pit bulls, they are currently being looked after in a specialist kennels. Officers also recovered a number of items associated with training dogs to fight.

A 35-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of two fighting dogs and they are currently in police custody assisting officer with their enquiries.
