Two men have been charged with robbery following incidents in Runcorn.
Police were called to reports of two robberies in the town in the early hours of Sunday 11 February. One victim was a 21-year-old man and the second was a 48-year-old man.
The suspects had been driving around in a car and it is believed the separate incidents occurred between 4am and 4.20am.
Thomas Quinn, 33, and Thomas Kavanagh, 35, both of no fixed address, have been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and fraud by false representation.
Kavanagh has also been charged with driving without insurance.
Both men appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 13 February.
