Two men have been charged in connection with an attempted burglary at a supermarket in Thelwall, Warrington

Michael Bergin, aged 35 from Tetbury Road in Manchester and Mark Cooke, aged 29, from Benchill in Wythenshaw have both been charged with attempted burglary.

The attempted burglary charge is in relation to an alleged incident in the early hours of Wednesday, 7 May at Today’s Extra shop on Thelwall Road after police received reports of a burglary. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested two men.
