Officers from Chester Local Policing Unit have charged two men with affray.
The men, age 23 and 30, have both been charged in relation to disorder that took place in Chester city centre on Friday 3 March following the Chester FC v Tranmere Rovers football match.
Both men have been released on bail and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court in September.
The charges follow on from a series of warrants that were conducted across the Birkenhead, Prenton and Bebbington areas of the Wirral on Wednesday 9 August.
The initial warrants resulted in four other men being charged with affray in relation to the disorder, meaning that a total of six men have now been charged in relation to the incident.
