Vital information from the public sees two men arrested following a serious assault in Crewe Date published: 24th August 2017 12.09pm

Following vital information from the public about the whereabouts of three wanted men from Crewe, two men were arrested for a string of offences following an incident on Dunwoody Way in Crewe on Sunday, 18 June.

Derek Cornes, 32, of West Street, Crewe and Damian Clough, 28 of Underwood Lane, Crewe have subsequently been charged with GBH, assault by beating, and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 45-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender - he has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A third man remains outstanding.

Cornes and Clough have been remanded into custody and are due to appear before South & East Cheshire Magistrates Court today, Thursday 24 August.
